As a player, she loved attacking a tight-set ball and surprising her opponent with a hard strategic hit.

Carly coaches the varsity team at Gateway High School during the fall season. Previously in her coaching career, Carly coached at Absolute Volleyball Club, and she was the head junior varsity coach at both Marin Academy and at the Bay School. When coaching, Carly pours her heart into growing the whole athlete, making certain every girl knows her value. Through the unique skills she has acquired at Playworks, she takes into account the social and emotional development of each player, in addition to skills development.

Carly was born in San Francisco, and received her degree in Psychology and English from the University of Oregon. When Carly is not coaching, she's running and going to yoga classes - she's constantly moving. She is an abundance of energy and a dedicated member of the Marin Juniors' team - not only as a coach but as the club's Administrator.
