No experience or pre-registration required, just bring $25 and come ready to play!

PURPOSE
The purpose of the fall clinics is to provide instruction and training to all of the players who attend. The clinics are also designed to introduce players to the Marin Juniors volleyball club. Players will meet the coaching staff and get first hand experience on the methods, principles, and philosophy behind how we teach. Players are encouraged to attend both clinics but are welcome even if they can attend only one. Youth coaches are also welcome to attend.

Although the primary focus is to provide instruction and an introduction to the club, the coaching staff will also use the clinics to help evaluate players. We expect there to be a strong turnout for the club tryouts and the clinics will be useful for us to help evaluate both new and returning players. The more opportunities we get to observe players, the better our decisions will be. The clinics are by no means mandatory, nor are they a substitute for tryouts. Players attending the clinics will NOT receive preferential treatment or additional consideration when it comes to tryouts or team selection.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Players will be guided through a series of warmups, including light ball-handling and stretching. The clinics will cover the fundamental skills: passing, setting, and hitting. Players will be separated into different courts to allow for more game-like drills and scrimmages. Players' full attention will be required and they should expect to learn something, improve their skills, and have fun!

REGISTRATION INFO
The cost of the clinics will be $25 per clinic. No pre-registration is available, so please plan on showing up at least 20 minutes early to fill out any necessary paperwork and to allow us to collect payment. All registered participants will receive a free t-shirt!
