Jill began playing volleyball her freshman year in high school while living in Anaheim, CA. She played throughout high school at the club level, and continued into college as a middle blocker for Cal. When asked what she likes best about being a middle blocker? Jill replied: "Blocking a big hit and running quick offensive plays!" Jill graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1995, with a degree in psychology.

In addition to playing indoor, Jill played sand and grass volleyball. She competed in beach tournaments throughout Southern California, and in grass tournaments in Northern California including the Grass Nationals in Lake Tahoe. 

Her coaching experience includes:

  •  Cal all skills summer camps
  • The College Preparatory School - boys and girls high school teams (NCS Champions)
  • St. Pat's CYO teams (5th & 6th grade)
  • Private lessons

Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom, their two daughters Delancy (8) and Logan (11), and their cuddly 13 year old dog, Brodie. She loves to travel, cycle, and hike... and is always looking for new adventures.
