Marin Juniors Too - Program Background & Overview

The Marin Juniors Volleyball Club has seen a big spike in popularity the past three years. One of our program goals is to promote as much participation in youth volleyball as possible, but unfortunately we are limited to the number of club teams we can field. In response to both players who we were unable to create teams for, and players who cannot make the full commitment to the intensive club season, we are continuing our new program called Marin Juniors Too!

The program invites a limited number of players to a series of eight two-hour sessions on Sundays from January through March . The first sessions will consist primarily of drills and instruction but as the program and groups progress, the sessions will include more and more game-like drills, and ultimately controlled scrimmages with other groups. The program will have a heavy emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals and mechanics. This focus is critical to the player development but unfortunately, too often neglected during school seasons.

The program is open to boys and girls in 4th grade through high school. Players will be grouped by age and experience, there are no tryouts, but enrollment will be limited. Program fees will be $200 (San Rafael residents will be given a $40 discount for this city-sponsored program). To register, fill out the form and send it with payment to:
