Marin Juniors Too - Additional Opportunities for players

The tryouts for the 2010 season were the most competitive in program history. Unfortunately, this means more players that we are unable to create teams for. In response to this, we have decided to continue running and expanding the Marin Juniors Too program. We are starting early this year, and will run a program for five Sundays, starting 2/28 and finishing on 3/28.

This will give all of those players who were interested in the club an opportunity to play. For many, tryouts is an intimidating process with inexperienced players being asked to do things they are not familiar with. This program is designed to really build skills and confidence, as a counterpoint to the whole tryout process. We believe inexperienced players can become great, they just need some coaching and opportunity to learn.

The Marin Juniors Too program is a great way to get access to top level coaching in a non-competitive, but challenging, environment. Our focus is on teaching proper fundamental skills as well as introducing game-like concepts.

Additionally, if we decide to field more teams in different age groups, players will have an additional chance to demonstrate their skills and development and participants may have additional possibilities of making teams for the upcoming season.

The program is open to all players in grades 5-10. Program fees will be $120. San Rafael residents will be given a $10 additional discount. To register, fill out the form and send it with payment to:
