Megan's love for volleyball developed at a young age."Volleyball was a new sport to try that I ended up loving! I traded soccer, softball, and basketball for volleyball and I didn't look back." Megan's commitment to volleyball continued at Justin – Siena High School where she was a setter and defensive specialist from 2007–2011. Megan played club volleyball for Napa–Sonoma Crush, and Evolve volleyball clubs where she was coached by Marin Juniors coaches Manny and Cassie Johnson

Megan fell in love with the business side of sports at California State University at Fullerton. She worked in collegiate athletics for the CSUF Titans, and concluded her tenure with the university at the College World Series with the Titans' baseball team in 2015. Megan has her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. She also earned a Master’s in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco in May of 2017.

In the fall of 2017 Megan began coaching for Redwood High School as the head coach of the girl's junior varsity team. Her team finished on top of the Marin County Athletic League standings with an 11 – 0 record.

Personal development, team mentality, and adaptability are elements that were crucial to Megan’s development on and off the court. 2017 marks Megan's first year coaching at Marin Juniors, and she hopes to foster these same characteristics in her teams.

When Megan isn't coaching, she enjoys riding cutting horses in Brentwood or getting in a Pure Barre class.
