20 years playing volleyball

2018 first season at Marin Juniors

100% about team spirit & energy

Stephanie was born and raised in Northern California where she was first introduced to volleyball in middle school. "My mom dropped me off for 7th grade tryouts and I have loved volleyball ever since! I have met lots of friends through volleyball, and I've learned how to work hard, and how to work as a team."

Stephanie began coaching in high school. She quickly became a favorite given her upbeat attitude and encouragement towards players. Stephanie is committed to building a positive environment for learning and teaching volleyball, where positive team dynamics are paramount.

In 2005 Stephanie moved to the Sonoma/Marin County area to attend Santa Rosa Junior College, where she continued to play volleyball. She fell in love with the area and has continued to make it her home and now lives in historic west Petaluma.

Stephanie is excited to join Marin Juniors for the 2018 indoor season. She focuses on fundamentals, with an emphasis on repetition to build the muscle memory necessary to perform under pressure. She believes that the energy a team cultivates together greatly affects their ability to thrive and win. Her practices consist of conditioning, team building, and game centric drills to set players up for success on and off the court.

When Stephanie is not coaching, she spends time with friends and family either hiking, doing yoga, or hosting dinners. She loves to eat tasty food and travel. She just recently returned from her first trip to New York and is excited to see what adventures await her next.
