Clinic - Court Awareness

Hello M2 Families,

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, time to burn off all that turkey! It's our second week of clinics, so get ready to hustle Today we will be working on court awareness; this includes being open to the ball, transitions, and base defense.

Clinic tip for success: dress the part. Players should wear t-shirts with sleeves, spandex, athletic shoes, and have their hair tied up. Players should also bring a bottle of water and a jacket or hoodie for before/ after practice. Don’t forget the most important thing to bring is a good attitude!

Quote of the Day: Respect Yourself and Others

After practice, ask your daughter what "base defense" means. How is it different from serve-receive defense? Why is base defense important?

Stay tuned for sizing day info coming soon. See you all tonight!

Cheers,
Rea

M2 2018

I'm delighted to announce our M2 program participants for 2018. Tryouts were intense, with an unprecedented number of participants trying out for both of our devisions. The level of competition this year is much higher than we have seen in the past, and I can't wait to get the season going.

To all of our new families: I look forward to connecting with all of you over how to get the most out of our program to take your daughter's volleyball skills to the next level. To all of our new participants: welcome to M2, it's going to be a wild ride! I can't wait to get to know all of you.

Check back here for season updates, player highlights, important info, and our weekly focus. If you have any questions now or throughout the season, please reach out to me at m2@marinjuniors.com.
